How to measure a window or a door ?
To be able to measure your window or your door, all you need is a measuring tape, a pencil and a paper ! Position yourself on the inside of the window to measure. Then, measure the width at the ends of the window. Measure the height from the lowest point to the highest point of the window.
How to measure a window with a shutter ?
For the first type of shutter, a shutter integrated under the lintel, you have 4 scenarios available to you ! For the first case, if you want to change your window without changing your old shutter, we do not intervene because it does not allow an optimal insulation !

For the second scenario, if you do not want a new shutter but still want to change your window, take the highest point of your old shutter and the lowest point of your window.
For the third scenario, if you want to change the window and install a new shutter, take the highest point of your old shutter and the lowest point of your window.

For the second type of shutter, a shutter integrated behind the lintel, you have 3 scenarios available to you ! For the first case, if you want to change your window without changing your old shutter, we do not intervene because this does not allow an optimal insulation !

For the second scenario, if you do not want a new shutter but still want to change your window, take the highest point of your window and the lowest point of your window.

When you go to the final step of your quote, you have the choice between several installers available in our database. They are sorted by distance or recommandation, in order to choose the more relevant for you !
Does my quote commit me to something ?
No, your online quote allows you to estimate the cost of your installation, equipment and service. It has no commitment value.
Is my quote accurate ?
We try to provide you with the prices as close as possible to the reality, however, your quote is based on your measurement, it may vary with the measurement made by the Pro. Your estimate adjusted by the Pro will therefore be precise and final.
I like my quote (adjusted by the Pro) ! What am I supposed to do next ?
You just have to transform it into an order. In your customer area or via the link you received by email, validate the quote adjusted by your Pro. Your quote will then turn into an order form.
My first contact with the Pro ?
At the end of your online quote, you can choose a Pro from our trusted and quality partners. The Pro will then receive your quote and accept it or not depending on his workload. If he accepts your quote, you will be immediately notified by email and the Pro agrees to contact you to organize a building site visit.
What happens if the Pro does not accept my quote ?
It can happen indeed. Don't panic, we will contact you directly in this case to find you a Pro available as soon as possible.
Can I choose a installer who is not included in the list ?

Can I install my frames myself ?
Of course ! This option is offered to you at the end of the quote, when you have to choose the Pro.
Once I have confirmed my request, how soon can I expect to benefit from my new frames ?

Is there a deposit to be paid to commit the purchase order ?

Once the order form has been drawn up, you can ask the Pro to modify the order (adding materials only) via a new annex order form.

Invoice
When will I receive my invoice ?
Your invoice will be sent to you by e-mail (it will also be available in your customer area on our platform) at the end of the project, once the satisfaction form has been completed.
What is the satisfaction form ?
These are a few quick questions relating to the smooth running of your building site, which the Pro will complete with you at the end of it. This feedback allows us to ensure that everything went smoothly and to adjust our service through the common experience of our customers / Pros. Once this small form completed by the Pro, you must also validate it (via the link in the email you will receive or via your customer area) so that we release the invoice and close your project.
What about applicable VAT rates ?
It depends on your country, for example: in Belgium, the rate of 21% can be reduced to 6% in the event of a renovation (of a property more than 10 years old). The situation is the same in France where the rate of 20% can be reduced to 5.5%. Our quote incorporates this concept of drawdown according to your choices.
Intra-community VAT ?
Any purchase made from a country other than Belgium, will have its VAT rate drop to 0% (also for a private individual).
What about reverse charge of VAT ?
Companies do not pay VAT, reverse charge is therefore required.

So like that, do I have a client area on your platform ?
Yes, your customer area allows you to manage your project(s) from start to finish, and to validate or refuse each step. You receive as your project progresses, several emails alerting you that action is required from you or that one of the other protagonists has acted on your project. Each of these emails allows you to validate or refuse the action via simple links. However, each of your choices, validation or refusal can just as easily be done from your customer area. The customer area also contains all the PDFs relating to each of your projects (estimate, estimate adjusted by the Pro, order form, invoice and satisfaction form).

Do I have to create an account to access it ?
Yes, you can create an account at any time (even without a quote) by clicking on "My account" at the top right and then choosing "New ? Create an account". You can also make your first quote and your account will be created at the end of the quote automatically.
In all cases, you will receive an email confirming your registration, your login being your email address and your password being the one you entered in the registration form (only you know it).
How do I connect to it ?
By clicking on "My Account" at the top right. Next, you need to encode your email address and password.
What if I lose my password ?
Don't worry, you can recreate a new one by clicking on "My account" at the top right, then by clicking on "Forgot your password?". Then follow the little procedure for recreating the password. Please note, you must have access to your mailbox for certain steps in this procedure.

Become a Pro at Anthracit ?
As a professional installer, I would like to be included in the list of your Pros. Is it possible ?
Yes, you can contact us by phone (see contact page) so that we can organize a first meeting. We guarantee a qualitative service, we must meet each of our partners in order to explain in detail the way we work.
Manage your sites by email or via the professional space ?
It's up to you, both are possible. Either you respond in real time by following the various validation or information links offered in the alert emails you receive, or you take a dedicated moment to follow up on all your projects when your calendar allows it. Anyway, all the actions available in the emails you receive are also available in your Pro space on the platform.
Once a Pro with Anthracit, do I have specific access to the platform ?
Yes, your professional space is then available, it centralizes all the quotes assigned to you, the follow-up of these is done in stages (quote> adjustment> purchase order> deposit> delivery of supplies> site> end and survey satisfaction). At each important stage of each of your projects, you receive an alert email for an action required from you. This ensures good follow-up for all parties concerned.
